To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental and social education. To provide programs that enhance access to a full curriculum for every child that includes physical education, arts and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). To promote a safe and positive school climate.

Reflections Program

What is Reflections?

The Reflections Arts Recognition Program is a national arts recognition and achievement program for students. Since 1969, over 10 million students across the nation have taken part in this popular PTA program. To get involved, students submit an original piece, inspired by the annual theme, for their school’s Reflections Program in any of following arts areas: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography,Visual Arts.

The theme for the upcoming year is “What is your story?”

Deadline to submit the entries: Wednesday, October 12th, 2016.

Students will be competing at three grade levels:

  • Primary – Preschool-Grade 2
  • Intermediate – Grades 3-5
  • Middle/Junior – Grades 6-8
